its not as bad as the new Tribe....really. At least the color scheme doesn't give me a headache.
The only major problem I've seen with Orkut is that a lot of the posts are in Portugese. I think this could be combatted by more English speaking people signing up.

I am a member of Orkut. I think Orkut simply shows why Tribe is so good.

When you go into a community's home page (a community there = a tribe here) there is only 4or5 threads shown. Their scrap book system is okay - but one sided in that you cant read the post you were replying to once you have posted back (indeed the scrap book is hard to keep track of).

The ONLY think Orkut has over tribe is the ability to hold polls. In every other way Tribe is better especially the way threads are displayed and particularly the was new posts are tracked. Orkut discussions can be very hard to follow... there is also many spam type message and threads.... Tribe is by far the better site..
